Iman Bacodari is New York Chapter Leader. Iman brings enthusiasm and a bright energy to the Shabeh Jomeh events that reflect the vibrant and unique personality of New York City. Taking the helm of the New York chapter in May of 2008, Iman states "My goal in taking over Shabeh Jomeh is enrich the Iranian American community in the Tri-state area by organizing quality events that to allow our members to socialize and network in an elegant setting". He continues to add "Our gatherings take on an electric atmosphere; I strive to ensure everyone meets each other, my strategy is to take the first step to put people together, everything else occurs organically". Born in Tehran, Iman was raised in Beverly Hills, CA. He moved to New York after high school to work in his family's fashion and real estate business and go to college. With his degrees in fashion and business from Fashion Institute of Technology, Iman used his innate networking abilities and business acumen to focus on real estate. He now is now a top producing real estate broker and vice president at Prudential Douglas Elliman, Manhattan's pre-eminent real estate brokerage. He specializes in assisting buyers and sellers in residential sales throughout the city. Iman lives in Manhattan on the Upper Eastside. His hobbies include Iranian culture, world music, yoga, volleyball and the arts.

 Shaheen Ensanyat

Shaheen Ensanyat is of Chinese and Persian descent and was raised in Austin, TX.

He received a B.S. in Neural Science from New York University where he also conducted research in auditory development and plasticity. He served as President of the NYU Persian Cultural Society for several years and has collaborated with numerous non-profit Iranian organizations to unite the community towards charitable endeavors and promote its rich cultural heritage.

Among his various initiatives, Shaheen helped organize IAAB's International Conference on the Iranian Diaspora and PAAIA's Passing the Torch of Success. He currently conducts research at NYU Cancer Institute.
