Hamed Zamani Keshmarzi

Hamed was born and raised in Ghazvin, Iran. He completed his first undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Imam Khomeini University before moving to the US. He earned a second bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Drexel University. Currently, Hamed is an Electrical Engineer at Boeing, working on various aerospace projects.

Hamed is very passionate about helping the Iranian community to grow both socially and professionally. He believes that Shabeh Jomeh is an excellent platform to achieve this goal. In his free time, he enjoys music, and hiking, and is dedicated to helping small-size businesses to grow.

Iman Dehzangi

Iman was born and raised in Shiraz, Iran. He received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran, a master's degree in bioinformatics from Multi-Media University (MMU), Cyberjaya, Malaysia, and a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics and computational biology from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. He moved to the US in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Bioinformatics at Rutgers University, NJ, USA.
 

Iman has a diverse set of interests when it comes to cinema, literature, and art in general. He also enjoys hiking, running, chess, and road trips. Iman is also very passionate about community building and actively contributes to the Iranian community. He is excited to host Shabe Jomeh in Philadelphia and be a member of the team.

Mina Ahmadi

Mina Ahmadi.jpg

Mina was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. After earning her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran, she moved to the United States to pursue graduate studies in chemical biology. She completed her MS in Biotechnology at TTUHSC and is currently a PhD candidate in the Chemistry Department at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mina is a strong advocate for the power of community in fostering personal and professional growth. She is an active member of the Penn Chemistry Outreach Program, which aims to enhance the well-being and mental health of graduate students. Mina is enthusiastic about her role in launching the Philadelphia chapter of Shabeh Jomeh, believing that the vibrant city of Philadelphia is an ideal setting for such community events.

Yalda Fazlali

Yalda was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She earned her double bachelor's and master's degrees in biology from the University of Tehran and her PhD in Neuroscience from IPM in collaboration with the Australian National University. In 2018, she moved to New York City to continue her academic career at Columbia University. More recently, she joined the University of Pennsylvania as a senior investigator.


Yalda has always been passionate about group activities and organizing events. She has been part of leadership teams since elementary school and was most recently involved in the well-being leadership team at the International House of New York, known for its diverse international community. Yalda enjoys photography, planting, dancing, hiking, and celebrating Persian cultural events. She is excited to bring her experiences, leadership, and energy to Shabeh Jomeh in Philadelphia.
