On Friday, March 15, 2013, Shabeh Jomeh DC Metro held their annual Nowruz Party at Capitale Lounge in downtown Washington, DC. The event was held to start the festivities of the Persian New Year season which begins on Wed March 20th. 500+ members danced the night away making it our most successful Nowruz Party yet. BBC reporter, Amir Payam, contacted the SJ team and offered to come meet and cover the celebrations.
