Thursday, Oct 17th 2013 was a night of tears and cheers! And Novela (662 Mission St. | San Francisco)
offered their beautiful venue for us to hold the memorable night.
We said good-bye to our beloved Leader Roya Soleimani. Roya led the Bay Area Chapter since September 2012 and was a tremendous value-add. Roya was also a leader for the DC chapter from January 2008-May 2012 before moving back to the Bay Area. Since her involvement the number of members have increased and attendees have been very satisfied with the venues and the quality of the people they've met! We are sad to be saying good-bye to Roya jan as a leader, although she will be attending as a member when her work schedule allows. We thanked Roya for all her efforts and for stepping up to the responsibilities of this role. She will be missed!
In addition to the tears we also had something to cheer about. We announced and introduced the new Leaders for the Bay Area Chapter!
