Nowruz is the time of year when the excitement of Spring, and the shedding of winter layers, gets the DC community excited. The passing of another year, the start of a fresh one, is a cause for celebration.
They buy new clothes, they visit loved ones, and they look forward to Shabeh Jomeh DC Metro’s Annual Nowruz Party. This year over 600 members and new friends danced the night away with DJ Pedram at Dirty Bar, a longtime favorite of the DC Community.
Guests enjoyed a Nowruz party complete with a Haft Seen Display and Persian Music all night in a venue which featured an indoor dance-floor and an outdoor terrace which had amazing views of Dupont Circle. The Shabeh Jomeh DC Metro Leaders wish to thank the DC Community for spending another Nowruz with us and wish you all Nowruzetan Pirooz!
