The foundation is about helping abused, neglected & underprivileged children in the state of Illinois. They strive to help boost these children’s self-esteem and give them a reason to believe that tomorrow can be different. That tomorrow can be better.

What we did: In November 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Shabeh Jomeh Chicago dedicated their monthly event to Chicago Children by sponsoring toy drives to support the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation in the spirit of the holiday season! They successfully donated many bags/boxes of toys as well as collected monetary contributions that were used to by some additional toys and the remainder was sent directly to the foundation to support their programming.
